The doctor who treats the patient closely is called the Case Manager. In addition, this type of treatment involves the patient going through 5 stages of rehabilitation. This staging helps both the doctor and the patient to more easily track progress.

In addition, our clinic has the ReFlex system, a method of tracking patients via sensors. Each condition has a well-established recovery protocol, implemented in the ReFlex system. Each patient is evaluated after the medical consultation by the physical therapist and several medical parameters are established: muscle strength, tone, joint mobility. Subsequently, all patient recovery is performed by applying 2 sensors that quantify all the exercises performed. At the end of the session, the patient will see on a diagram his results and the recovery protocol according to his condition.

The specialist doctor, also called the Case Manager, creates a personalized rehabilitation protocol for each patient and then supervises the route through specific tests and periodic checks. In the Centrokinetic clinic we are happy to have:

 

Pain and inflammation control: in this phase, the patient is evaluated and the goal is to decrease the pain and inflammation. The patient will follow a physical therapy program, but also physiotherapy: cryotherapy, ultrasound, lymphatic drainage, manual therapy, electrotherapy, Tecar therapy. On average, this stage lasts 2-4 weeks.
Restoring joint mobility: the goal is to perform a full range of movements in the affected joint or restore a specific movement in the absence of pain. The stage consists of stretching, vertebral elongations, joint mobilizations. It lasts on average 2 weeks.
Recovery of muscle strength and endurance: consists of specific exercises designed to increase muscle strength, tone, and ability to exercise. This stage can last up to 3 months depending on the patient's condition.
Recovery of coordination: any disease in the musculoskeletal or neurological system, causes changes in proprioceptive mechanisms, mechanisms that allow us to perceive the position of our limbs in space. Proprioception should be established as soon as possible and is a very important parameter for a complete recovery and to prevent a recurrence.
Sports recovery: for a normal person at this stage the aim is to regain some simple, usual gestures, necessary in everyday life. For an athlete, this stage aims at his reintegration into sports.
