Dr. Maria Alexandra Lupu graduated from the "Grigore T. Popa" University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Iași, Romania, earning her Medical Doctor degree in 2020. Her professional training includes both academic and clinical experience gained in Romania and leading university medical centers across Europe.

Professional Experience

She completed her specialist training at Elias University Emergency Hospital in Bucharest, where she undertook her residency in Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine. During this period, she gained extensive experience in the assessment and management of patients requiring medical rehabilitation following trauma, surgical procedures, and neurological or rheumatological conditions.

As part of her professional development, she completed an international clinical placement at Rothschild Hospital in Paris, a member of the AP-HP network and affiliated with Sorbonne University. There, she worked within a multidisciplinary medical environment and became familiar with modern rehabilitation and functional recovery techniques.

She also participated in an Erasmus exchange program at the University Medical Centre Ljubljana in Slovenia, an experience that further strengthened her international perspective on medical practice and interdisciplinary collaboration.
