Paul Nastase MD.

With a passion for orthopedic medicine that started in childhood, Dr. Paul Nastase is a primary physician in Orthopedics and Traumatology, recognized for his dedication and expertise in the field. His professional journey began at the age of 8 when he first visited a hospital, thus opening his path towards medicine.

Since his teenage years, Dr. Nastase has been active in the medical world, starting his career as a volunteer at the Bucharest Emergency Clinical Hospital (Floreasca). There, he gained valuable experience, initially working as a stretcher-bearer, then as a medical assistant in the Orthopedics department.

His formal medical education began at the prestigious Faculty of Medicine within UMF “Carol Davila”, where he stood out through active involvement in the operating room and exceptional academic results, graduating with a grade of 9.74 at the license exam. His academic success earned him the second place in the Orthopedics residency at Floreasca Hospital, under the guidance of Professor Dan Barbu, followed by a specialization in arthroscopic surgery under the leadership of Dr. Niculescu Paul and Dr. Netu Cornel.

Dr. Nastase later extended his expertise in Orthopedics by participating in training stages in the United Kingdom, focusing on hip and knee surgery. He continued to improve in shoulder pathology, becoming a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons in the United Kingdom.

Currently, Dr. Paul Nastase is a top collaborating physician within several private clinics, including Sanador Hospital, where he performs complex surgical interventions. He is an active member of national and international orthopedic associations, including SOROT, SRATS, ESSKA, and ICRS.
