Rares Opris MD

Dr. Rares Opris is a primary care orthopedic surgeon, a graduate of the Iuliu Hateganu University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Cluj-Napoca in 2002. He developed his expertise as a specialist in orthopedics and traumatology at the Clinic of Surgery I within the Cluj County Emergency Clinical Hospital, under the careful and competent guidance of Dr. Voicu Turdean, the head of the Orthopedics and Traumatology department. Here, Dr. Opris gained extensive experience in the management and modern therapeutic approach of polytraumatized patients, limb-saving surgery, as well as spine, hand, and foot surgery.

During his training as a young orthopedic traumatology specialist, Dr. Opris completed training stages in France at CHRU Tours and at the "Jeanne d'Arc" Clinic in Nantes, specialized in hand surgery.

Committed to continuous professional development, Dr. Opris has participated in numerous scientific events and training courses, both nationally and internationally. He has also co-authored numerous scientific papers presented at specialized congresses and has served as an instructor at national and international courses and conferences on reconstructive microsurgery and free tissue grafting. He is proficient in arthroscopic surgery and hand surgery.
