What are psychosomatic illnesses?

Psychosomatic illnesses refer to the relationship between medical conditions and psychological difficulties.

In other words, a negative mood can lead to medical difficulties in terms of the progression, or even the onset, of certain illnesses. This happens because the emotions we experience throughout life also have a physical counterpart.
