Everything you need to know about scheduling an MRI at Centrokinetic

Thank you for your appointment! To ensure everything goes smoothly, please review the following essential information:

✅ Checklist before your appointment

• Have you correctly mentioned the body area to be investigated?
• Do you know the location and district of the clinic where you are scheduled?
(Bucharest: District 1, 3, 4, or 6 / Cluj / Timisoara)
• Do you have or have you been in any of the following situations?
  • You have a pacemaker ❌ The investigation CANNOT be performed
  • You have a diabetes sensor on your arm ❌ The investigation CANNOT be performed
  • You have metal objects in your body, a cardiac stent, prostheses, pregnancy, recent injuries ➡ The investigation can only be performed with a doctor’s recommendation.
• Does the circumference of the investigated area meet the scanner limits?
  • Knee: max. 48 cm (Eliade) / max. 60 cm (Militari, Dristor, Berceni, Cluj, Timisoara)
  • Spine: max. 130 cm in the waist/chest area; abdomen height max. 32 cm
  • Hip/Pelvis: max. 150 cm
  • Body weight: max. 140 kg (Eliade) / max. 180 kg (Militari, Dristor, Berceni, Cluj, Timisoara)

ℹ️ Useful information about the investigation

• Scanner type: Open MRI Fujifilm
• Investigation duration depending on the area:

Investigated Area	Approximate Duration
Knee	30 minutes
Foot/Forefoot	40 minutes
Forearm, Elbow, Calf, Ankle, Hand/Wrist, Heel, Arm, Thigh, Shoulder, Sacroiliac joints, Coccyx, Hip/Pelvis, 1 spine region	50 minutes
Full foot (mid + forefoot), 2 spine regions	60 minutes
3 spine regions	80 minutes

• Results:
• The DVD is provided on the spot
• Written interpretation:
• 5-7 working days (Bucharest, Timisoara)
• 2-3 working days (Cluj)
• You will receive a link with online access to the results
• Indicative prices:
• 600 lei – 1 spine region
• 700 lei – Knee, Shoulder, Thigh, Elbow, Ankle, Foot, etc.
• 800 lei – Hip/Pelvis
• 900 lei – 2 spine regions
• 1050 lei – Full foot
• 1250 lei – 3 spine regions

• Centrokinetic does not collaborate with the National Health Insurance House. Services are available for a fee or through private insurers.
• If you already have previous MRI scans, please bring them for more accurate correlation.
