About Centrokinetic

Centrokinetic is the most advanced medical system consisting of a team of doctors and physiotherapists, united to solve osteoarticular diseases, which occur during life, either hereditary or due to injuries.

Centrokinetic works only with the latest equipment, and therefore the results begin to appear from the first recovery sessions, which led to the thought of a plan in which physical therapy is not only a place to perform a recovery through exercises, but also a style of physical activity, to develop workouts, and even to exceed your limits.

Our team has worked with countless performance athletes, helping them to return to the sport that consecrated them, being highly appreciated by the Romanian national rugby team, the CSA Steaua Bucharest rugby team, the athletes from Absoluto, the Romanian Federation of Fights, but also by many others. The experience gained and the continuous desire to improve, made us move to the next level.

What does "next level" mean? It means the development along with the Spanish company Pavigym of a special Physical therapy room, PRAMA Recovery.

PAVIGYM is a company from the city of Alicante (Spain) and is the main provider of innovations and interactive solutions for the global fitness industry, being the number one reference for sports floors. With more than 120 teams consisting of PAVIGYM headquarters in Alicante and 6 satellite offices operating around the globe, the company has developed a combination of high-performance flooring, interactive technology, inspiring designs, and ready-to-use programs, so anyone can do sports, under the name of PRAMA.

The first feedback on the company's official website was "The experience is completely engaging and feels as intuitive as a child’s play."

The PRAMA system coordinates music, lighting, and synchronization and makes the training session an interactive, motivating, and complete intensive experience. This is new and revolutionary, in fact. The basic philosophy is to attract members to the joy of movement, providing an engaging and motivating environment through modern interactive technology, with an emphasis on gaming, sports, and social community. In addition, a PRAMA installation creates a flexible and efficient platform in group rooms.

The system uses interactive floors, lights and integrated LED sensors, several types of functional markings, and software, which together with the PRAMA vibe, offer a complete solution for recovery rooms.

Studies

Prama music

In the National Center for Health Research, studies show that listening to a song during exercise not only reduces boredom but can help improve the quality of training by increasing endurance and creating a better mood.

In particular, motivational or exercise-synchronized music proves to have physical and psychological effects. When a song has a strong and constant rhythm, for example, pedaling or running to the rhythm of that song, it can inspire extra practice. The lyrics or the captivating rhythm of the motivational melodic rhythm inspires performing the exercises for a longer time.

Improving physical performance

Studies show that fast-paced music improves athletic performance when a person engages in low- to moderate-level exercise, either by increasing distance, pace, or repetition.

For example, a 2006 study that assessed the effect of music on running speed selection found that while listening to fast-paced music, participants increased their pace and distance without getting tired. Other studies have drawn similar conclusions, suggesting that listening to music with several beats per minute can improve physical performance during low to moderate exercise.

Psychological effect

Music can lead to feelings of pleasure or dissatisfaction, can change thinking processes, and can cause changes in behavior. This psychological effect can be seen by changes in hormone levels.

For example, a 2012 study showed that participants in a running competition who listened to music and whom the jury considered "pleasant" had higher levels of serotonin, known as the hormone "I feel good." Although difficult to prove, this study suggests that the pleasant experience of listening to a song can lead to an increase in serotonin levels, which can put you in a better mood for training.

Fitness lights

Science is developing more and more and is approaching the answer to the question "how to optimize your performance with light."

We know a lot of information about the effects of natural or artificial light that we encounter in everyday life. For example, natural light:

  • It increases the level of serotonin in your body and, consequently, you feel happier;
  • Improves the synthesis of melatonin, a hormone that helps regulate the body's circadian rhythm
  • Fight seasonal affective disorder - in other words, you can be more easily affected by depression in times when days are shorter.

But recently, scientists have made much bolder claims that the right light, whether it's natural light, brightly colored projections, or LED technology, can have an impact and even improve performance.

Phyllis ZEE, associate director of the Center for the Study of Sleep and Circadian Biology at Northwestern University, states that “light is a very strong signal to the brain. "It was meant to be like this: we live in a light / dark cycle that influences our circadian rhythm, which regulates our performance." But does light exposure also increase muscle strength? Not necessarily, observes the EEZ. But the lights that appear during the exercises, either in natural or artificial form, can give the body a moment of "alert", the energy begins to increase, and the feeling of motivation becomes more and more.

PRAMA programs

The PRAMA Recovery platform uses several types of programs to be used in each physiotherapy session. Smart floor units are controlled by a touch-screen, allowing trainers to easily design and track different types of exercises. Also, PRAMA Cloud allows users, trainers, and operators to store all data, synchronize it, and share it.

The interactive physiotherapy program available with PRAMA offers training programs with over 500 different exercises. The programs can be used by adults, athletes, children, and seniors, the programs being structured on objectives: energy, strength, parents and children, fight).

PRAMA ENERGY

It includes functional movements, high-intensity exercises, and a unique physiotherapy experience.

It works based on circuits, combining functional movements with cardio exercises, using bodyweight and kinetic accessories. The training is performed in 1-hour sessions and combines functional training with HIIT training (physical therapy + high-intensity training). The exercises are performed according to the natural movements of the body and are used to increase energy and to get the desired results faster.

The main benefit of this type of physical therapy is the rapid reduction of fat and toning the body. This program helps the body recover quickly, and burn more calories in a very short time. It also helps increase fitness, maintain balance, coordination, agility, strength, and reaction time.

PRAMA STRENGTH

Group-based format circuits that combine the best strength training, using medium and heavyweight accessories, for integration into sports activity.

It requires body endurance training in 1-hour sessions. It combines different formats: pyramid techniques, sets, and increasing repetitions. It trains the main muscle groups through muscle congestion and intense cardiovascular activity.

It is an optimal way to form the desired body by increasing muscle mass.

PRAMA KIDS & FAMILIES

Active and healthy children will turn into active and healthy adults.

Physical therapy combines with fun through circuit training, designed for mixed sessions for children and parents as well as sessions dedicated only to children. The PRAMA Kids & Families program is unique in this industry.

Orienting children to sports to keep them healthy is not an easy task. The PRAMA Recovery program uses an attractive environment for both children and parents, to enjoy together 1 hour of development through movement.

Benefits
  • physiological and psychological improvement (obesity management, ADHD, depression)
  • improving cognitive function (motor skills, memory)
  • social development (healthy competition, self-esteem, teamwork)
  • improving the time spent with family.

PRAMA FIGHT

Is the program dedicated to those whose combat sports are the main physical activity.

Most of the time, we meet athletes with diseases in the joints of the fist, knees, or ankles, practically the most important in supporting the sport. For them, the level of energy and motivation must be maintained at a high level because the psychological impact of the athlete with injury is strong and most of the time, the body's muscle strength tends to decrease.

Therefore, the beginning of a recovery program on basic exercises in contact sports, combined with complementary exercise sessions, in a space that perfectly mimics the battle ring, speeds up the athlete's recovery.
