What is the Manuthera Table?

Manuthera 242 is the world's most versatile treatment table and offers, for the first time internationally, the ability to work with two synchronized electric motors. This “twin motor” feature allows easy, correct movement that facilitates the therapist's work. Additionally, there is an automatic safety feature that detects if something becomes trapped between the structures of the table, triggering a reverse motion from the initial trajectory.

The patient can be placed in key therapeutic and anatomical positions, including from an orthostatic position – the table allows for vertical positioning. Mobilization treatment can be performed in a three-dimensional plane, using methods such as: traction, flexion, extension, lateral movements, rotations, etc. Additionally, gravity can be used as a component of the therapy.

Manuthera 242 offers an excellent treatment experience for the patient. Thanks to its robust frame, anatomical design, upholstery pleasant to the touch, with easy-to-clean surfaces, the patient feels comfortable at all stages of treatment. The movement of the table is similar to that of the patient's spine, so the therapist does not need to lift or twist the patient. The movement of the table is fluid, offering natural, painless paths for the patient. A pleasant treatment experience allows a greater number of repetitions and consequently, a better therapeutic effect. Thanks to the electronic verticalization function, even patients with severe disabilities can easily access the table.

The technology is designed to allow multiple adjustments of the table's flexibility, so the patient does not have to get off the table, even when different/multiple treatment techniques are applied.

Specific Functions:

• The face section can be adjusted in two directions: allowing 3D mobilization of the vertebral column – cervical area – through vertical and lateral head movements;
• The arm support: adjustable vertically, allows lateral movements. The armrests can be folded laterally to function as support.
• Buttons/handles for locking the movement to the desired position, easy to use, robust, and ergonomic;
• Safety edges command the stopping of all functions and the movement of the table in the opposite direction;
• The thoracic support composed of two sections, allows the adjustment of the table's position vertically, rotational movements, and 3D settings;
• The support for the lower body section allows movements of: flexion, extension, lateral movement, and 3D rotation;
• The foot support with the possibility of multiple adjustments: horizontal, vertical position, or pad-type support in case of verticalizations;
• The verticalization function, with the possibility of tilting the table up (530) and down (320), particularly useful for setting up patients with low mobility, using gravity during treatments, decompression, etc;
• "Drop function" – allows the unlocking of the table for easier and more diverse hip traction or mobilization.
• Total blocking function of the table sections (front or back) to provide additional support (robustness) during treatments;
• Multiple access and control possibilities for the table's adjustment functions;
• Wheels for movement with a central locking system;
• Ergonomic upholstery, pleasant to the touch, easy to clean/disinfect, bio-compatible, etc;
• Table support legs, with adjustable height (for uneven surfaces).
