Improving physical performance
Studies show that fast-paced music improves athletic performance when a person engages in low- to moderate-level exercise, either by increasing distance, pace, or repetition.

We know a lot of information about the effects of natural or artificial light that we encounter in everyday life. For example, natural light:
- It increases the level of serotonin in your body and, consequently, you feel happier;
- Improves the synthesis of melatonin, a hormone that helps regulate the body's circadian rhythm
- Fight seasonal affective disorder - in other words, you can be more easily affected by depression in times when days are shorter.
But recently, scientists have made much bolder claims that the right light, whether it's natural light, brightly colored projections, or LED technology, can have an impact and even improve performance.
