Physical therapy programs are specially designed after the patient's constitution, age, condition, and the type of activity that the patient carries out, the stage of evolution of the disease, and the existence of other conditions.

Your physical therapist will assess your motor skills and recommend an exercise program to help you gradually increase the maximum level of physical activity you can achieve. You should mention the specific conditions you are facing and the reasons for your concern, as well as your goals and expectations.

A full recovery program can take up to 8 weeks, but its duration depends on your specific needs. At the end of the recovery program, you will be re-assessed to determine if the recovery program has gone according to plan.

You will also learn a series of exercises that you can perform at home to maintain the progress you have made.
